Roy Cox Turns Over Leadership; Warren and Samnani Assume Control

IRVINE, Calif., December 8, 2009 —Post Modern Group is pleased to announce that negotiations have been finalized to assure a seamless transition as Roy Cox announces his departure to pursue other interests. Rick Warren, currently President of the Post Modern Group, and Amir Samnani, currently Vice President, Sales, have purchased a majority stake in the company.

Founded in 1993 as a post-production lab, PME entered the world of in-flight entertainment in 1997 and began servicing Hollywood sales into non-theatrical markets including airlines, a move that spurred rapid growth. When Cox assumed control some ten years ago his vision for the future was one of diversification to enable the company to grow and respond to changing market needs. In the years that followed the company made this vision a reality and is now recognized as a leader, not only in the in-flight entertainment field, but also in the prolific Orange County video market where its customers include advertising agencies, major corporations and public sector entities nationwide.

PME President Rick Warren’s strong management skills and savvy market instincts were the driving force that made Cox’s vision happen. The company’s push for diversification gained momentum when Amir Samnani, who started out as Operations Manager, moved into sales. He spearheaded the company’s move into overseas markets which set the stage for the launch of its Airline Media Productions (AMP) division in 2007 providing content management services to airlines around the world.

Roy Cox said, “I’m delighted to be able to pass the reins to the next generation. Rick and Amir are both passionate about this business and are supported by a great team of people, many of whom have been with us since the early days. The company is in a strong position and will continue to deliver on its commitments to its clients today and in the future”.
