United Kingdom | March 31, 2016– STG Aerospace, a leading aircraft cabin interior lighting specialist, is delighted to announce that it has received a Boeing Performance Excellence Award for the seventh consecutive year.

The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognise suppliers that have achieved superior performance standards in cost, quality and delivery as well as making a significant contribution to Boeing’s ability to meet its own customers’ expectations. This year Boeing recognised 530 suppliers. A recipient of the award every year since 2010, at either Silver or Gold level, STG Aerospace is proud to be one of Boeing’s top performing worldwide partners.

Marcus Williams, Global Sales and Marketing Director at STG Aerospace, commented: “We’re extremely proud that Boeing has again recognised STG Aerospace with a Performance Excellence Award for 2015. Being recognised by Boeing for our operational strength is a testament to our high performance standards and unwavering commitment to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

STG Aerospace has been a Tier 1 supplier to Boeing since 2000, supplying its market-leading saf-Tglo® photoluminescent floor path marking system to the Boeing 737 production line. A low cost, low weight solution for emergency egress marking, saf-Tglo® requires no power source, making the system 100% reliable and eliminating the frequent operational delays and costs associated with electrical-based systems.

Most recently, STG Aerospace has been contracted to supply the latest generation of saf-Tglo®, SuperSeal UltraLite® (SSUL), for the Boeing 737 MAX. Designed to deliver higher efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort, along with lower fuel consumption, the 737 MAX made its first test flight on January 29th of this year.

SSUL is the lightest, highest performing and most discreet photoluminescent system available. Produced in hundreds of colours to perfectly match and even enhance cabin aesthetics, the system is fully EASA and FAA certified for almost every aircraft type.

Montreal, Canada | October 20, 2013–

Innotech Aviation’s engineering and design departments have developed a new, proprietary concept in cabin lighting systems, initially being incorporated in Bombardier Global series business jets.

The Montreal completion center has applied Swarovski crystals to its variable-color LED cabin lighting systems to create a unique, industry-first lighting environment. The first application/installation is currently in progress, and slated for customer delivery later this season.

Gesse Sciacca, Innotech director of avionics engineering, said, “We are unique in the application of Crystal Lighting in business jet aircraft. Combining infinitely-variable color and brightness LED systems, the cabin interior mood can be tailored and controlled by passengers or flight crew with ease.”

The new, ultra-thin Crystal Lighting System™ can be installed in the sidewalls, headliners or bulkheads, and applied to any flat or curved surface. The headliner design includes multiple large curved lighting surfaces to create a spectacular, animated crystal overhead lighting design option.

“As a true custom-completion center our job is to design, develop, engineer and integrate industry firsts for long range, one-of-a-kind business aircraft, specifically Global series jets,” Sciacca added. “ Our international clientele recognizes our capabilities, and put us top-of-the-list for their custom completions.”
