Isle of Wight, UK | April 13, 2017– IFPL are delighted to announce that the 2017 AIX was their best ever, with record interest shown in their innovative products and solutions.

Visitors to the stand were the first to try their latest NFC PIN on-screen high-value contactless payment product. Using the IFPL NFC payment system, passengers can quickly and securely buy not only low-value items such as beverages and food, but higher-value items including perfume, luxury gifts and high-end audio technology.

Mark Reed, IFPL Director North America said: “The IFPL team and I were thrilled to welcome record numbers of interested parties to our stand to discuss how our products can not only enhance their customer experiences, but can also increase ancillary revenue for them too.”

IFPL also demonstrated its new USB-C range, including the Rapid Fit USB-C variant and the USB-A and C combination. The USB-C demonstration can be seen in the Runway Girl Network Video. This ingenious unit has patent applied for status and enhances passenger experience by providing data and power with industry-leading reliability.

IFPL led the way in demonstrating seamless seat integration with the Nexus integrated seat arm concept and also a collaboration with Mirus Aircraft Seating. The new product features integrated USB-A, integrated capacitive touch Passenger Control Units, tray table inductive charging and an embedded solution with NFC and breakaway audio.

David Thomas, VP Business Development adds: “At IFPL we are passionate about what we do and this can be seen in the continual development of our product range. AIX has been a great boost to us and we look forward to following up on the connections we made at the show.”
