Geneva | May 16, 2013– Rockwell Collins recently surpassed 250 deliveries of its Venue™ high-definition (HD) cabin management and entertainment system for business aircraft, the highest number of HD cabin systems delivered in the business aircraft market segment.

Venue, unveiled by Rockwell Collins in 2007, is the first HD cabin management system with an open-architecture design that accommodates future technologies, such as the company’s new Apple®-enabling Skybox™ solution. Venue’s scalability also makes it adaptable to a broad range of business aircraft, from King Airs to long-range Bombardier and Dassault business jets to large Airbus and Boeing VIP jets.

“Venue’s popularity and market-leading adoption, especially for full-cabin retrofits, stems from its highly reliable, state-of-the-art interface and digital delivery, and its scalability for any cabin,” said Dave Austin, vice president and general manager, Cabin Systems for Rockwell Collins. “Operators have also been pleased with Venue’s optimization of hardware and wiring throughout the cabin and subsequent weight savings, especially with large VIP aircraft.”

Rockwell Collins’ Venue cabin system provides users with an easy-to-use, graphically driven interface on a variety of on-board hardware and personal devices for entertaining, working or controlling the aircraft’s environment. Learn more about Venue here: http://www.rockwellcollins.com/venue/.

In 2012, Rockwell Collins announced that Venue’s technology is being implemented on new Dassault Falcon 7X, 900LX and 2000LX aircraft as part of the FalconCabin HD+ cabin management system. Deliveries are currently under way.
