Emphasis Media Appoints New UK Country Head

United Kingdom, 27 April 2010 – Emphasis Media, a company of PubliGroupe, has appointed Suzanne Averil Taylor as the new Country Head of Emphasis Media, UK office. This appointment reinforces Emphasis’ commitment to excellence in delivering top-quality media services to its clients.

Ms Taylor is an award-winning media leader with a proven track record for driving business growth in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. She has more than 15 years of expertise spanning advertising sales, marketing, research, publishing, distribution and brand development in B2B, B2C and customer publishing in market sectors that include women’s and men’s lifestyle, sport, finance and travel.

Prior to Emphasis, Ms Taylor was the Group Commercial Publishing Director of ITP Publishing Group, a company based in the Middle East. She grew the publishing client base by 50% and developed strong advertising relations with numerous top international brands including Rolex, Ralph Lauren, Bentley and Montblanc. She also created unique publishing models for brands such as Barclays ME, Rotana Hotels, Nissan ME, Dubai and Abu Dhabi Tourism and launched Etihad Airways’ First and Business Class magazine and celebration coffee table book, as well as Kuwait Airways’ inflight publication.

Ms Taylor also worked with EMAP for 17 years, a British media company that specialises in publishing B2B and B2C magazines and digital communications, as well as the organisation of business events and conferences.

She will spearhead Emphasis London’s full-service office, driving the commercial and publishing teams and help expand the customer publishing business, while servicing CNN International, client for CNN Traveller magazine. She will report to Monica Woo, CEO, Custom Publishing – PubliGroupe and will work closely with the relevant teams in Emphasis’ Hong Kong Headquarters.
